The unique house church Ons’ Lieve Heer op Solder, where Catholic Amsterdammers once gathered, prompts reflection on (religious) freedom. How free were Catholics in the 17th century when they were not allowed to practice their faith in public? How free are you if you have to hide your identity? These questions remain relevant and are more important than ever in today’s diverse and rapidly changing society. This theme forms the foundation of our educational programs, where students are encouraged to reflect on their own identity. What does it mean to be yourself, and how do you view your classmates and the world around you?
Please note: Educational rates apply exclusively to Dutch schools. Belgian and German schools can only book a High Light tour. This can be found under Group Visits on our website.
